Defense Against Satan: The Armor from God

The Armor from God

The remaining, my brethren, be caused to be empowered in Christ and in the might of His strength. Clothe yourself with the full armor from God facing your ability to stand facing the methodologies of the slanderer. For our wrestling is not facing blood and flesh, but facing rulers, facing authorities, facing world powers of darkness of this age, facing the spiritually malignant evil in the heavens. Because of this, all of you take up the whole armor from God, in order that all of you should be enabled to stand in the malignantly evil day and having for yourself worked out all to stand. Therefore, all of you stand having girded your loins in truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having bound up the feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace. Over all taking up the shield of the faith, by which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the malignantly evil one. And to receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword belonging to the Spirit, which is the individual utterances from God, through all communication of worship and supplication, communicating by worship at all times in the spirit and into this same watching with all persistence and supplication concerning all the saints… Ephesians 6:10-18.

The armor from God is a mental process that we go through when under attack from Satan to protect our minds from his methods, by which he seeks to keep our minds from thinking on the things above and influence our actions. Independence from God, Disappointment, Discouragement, Bitterness, Doubt, Spiritual Cowardice, Lying, Pride, An unforgiving spirit, Stealing, Corrupt communication, Busybody, and Gossip […]

Who a Christian is in Christ makes Demon Possession Impossible

The saints who are apart of the Church (body of Christ) are the Holy of Holies. The Spirit of God indwells them, which no other group has had or will have this type of relationship with God, 1 Corinthians 3:16. The Holy of Holies of God has no agreement with idols – demons are behind the worship of sticks and stones, 2 Corinthians 6:16. Christ indwells those in the Church, Colossians 1:27. Therefore, no demon can enter this house (the flesh of a saint).

Satan (and his demons) is not permitted to touch a Christian. 1 John 5:18 We intuitively know that everyone born out from God does not habitually sin, and the malignantly evil one cannot touch him.

Satan can only ensnare a Christian to do his desirous will, 2 Timothy 2:24-26 …they should come to a right mind out from the snare of the Devil, having been captured alive by him for the purpose of that one’s desirous will; 1 Timothy 3:7.

This is not being demonized. One who is demonized is in fact possessed by a demon not just tormented. During the earthly ministry of Christ, He cast out the demons from those who were demonized, Matthew 8:16; 9:32, 33; Mark 1:32-34. We only see this type of activity during the time Jesus was walking the earth. After the Gospels, Scripture does not use this word; rather, it says they had a demon or spirit, Acts 16:16.

Although the Old Testament reveals the workings of demons among men, the concept of men being possessed is not used; rather, the evil spirits manipulate unsaved men, Judges 9:23; 1 Kings 22:23. Even within the Dispensation of Law, prior to the Son’s incarnation, we see […]

1 Peter

1 Peter

Peter an Apostle belonging to Jesus Christ, to the elect strangers of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia dispersed according to the foreknowledge of God even the Father, by the sanctification of the Spirit because of obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. Grace is to you and may possibly peace be multiplied.

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is well-spoken of, who birthed us again according to His great mercy into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ out from the dead, into an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance, which is kept in the heaven for you, the ones who God’s natural ability is guarding through faith into a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time, in which you rejoice, since it is necessary for a little while to suffer in various trials, in order that the approval of your faith – more precious than gold even gold that has been approved by fire –  should be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen, you love, in whom now not seeing but you are believing, rejoicing with an inexpressible joy. And you will rejoice when you are in a state of having been glorified, having receiving the end of your faith; the salvation of the soul.

Concerning which salvation the prophets sought out and diligently searched, the ones who prophesied concerning the grace unto you, searching into what person or what time the Spirit from Christ by them declared, having before testified of the suffering unto Christ and the things concerning the glories to follow, to whom it was revealed that not to themselves but to us they were serving in these things now announced to you through those who declare the good news to you by the Holy Spirit, having been sent from heaven, into which angels desire to stoop to look.

Therefore, gird up the loins of your understanding (workings of your mind), being clear […]
