The Fourth Dispensation begins when God gives Abraham a promise concerning the future of his offspring.

Abraham is the Steward

And the LORD said unto Abram, “You go from your land and from your kindred and from the house of your father unto the land which I will show you and I will make you a great nation and I will bless you and will make your name great and to be blessed”, Genesis 12:1, 2

Personal Promise to Abraham for Protection

I will bless the ones blessing you and curse the ones cursing you. and all the families of the earth will be blessed by you, Genesis 12:3

Land Covenant for Abraham’s Seed

In that day the LORD cut a covenant with Abram, saying, ” To your seed I will give this land from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Rephaim and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites”, Genesis 15:18 – 21

The Dispensation of Human Government

The third dispensation begins after the flood God brought upon the earth to destroy the corruption of all flesh by man and fallen spirit beings.

Noah is the Steward of the Dispensation of Human Government

And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them ” Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth. And your fear and your terror will be upon all living of the earth and upon all fowl of the air and upon which move of the earth and all the fish of the sea. In your hand they are given. Every moving thing which itself lives to you will be for food like the herb I have given to you all. However the flesh with its soul, you will not eat its blood. And surely with your blood for your soul I will seek from the hand of all living, I will seek it. And from the hand of the man, from his hand who is his brother I will seek the soul of the man who pours out blood of man by man his blood will be poured out because in an image of Elohim I made the mankind. The Only Acceptable Message for Salvation

Why is the Gospel for Salvation the only acceptable Message for Salvation?

What makes the Gospel Message so important? Is it not sufficient to simply say that if you accept Jesus you are saved? or Jesus died for you? Does it really matter what you believe or just that you believe? To understand why it is so important to accurately present the gospel for salvation today, which is Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures, we are going to look at what God has said throughout the Scripture and the affects on men who either modify God’s word, completely ignore it, or followed exactly what He said.

After renovating the earth [1] due to the fall and judgment of Lucifer who once reigned over the entire created universe as God’s anointed Cherub[2], God planted a garden in Eden[3] and created Adam to tend to the garden[4]. Prior to God building the woman from Adam, He gave instruction to him on how he was expected to govern his life and the consequences of failing to obey His word. The Proper Use of the Old Testament

Two types of doctrine are found in Scripture that are revealed through two Greek words used for different types of teaching; doctrine that is to be learned and practiced and doctrine that is to be learned, but NOT practiced.

“All Scripture is God breathed and profitable towards teaching, towards conviction, towards correction, towards child training in the righteousness” , 2 Timothy 3:16.

“Teaching” refers to information to be learned but not practiced. Conviction, correction and child training in the righteousness relates to doctrine that is to be learned and practiced.

“And having various gracious gifts according to the grace, the one given to you, whether prophecy, according as the portion of the faith, whether the one serving, in serving or the one teaching, in teaching…” Romans 12:6, 7.

“… and He gave the Apostles, and the prophets, and the evangelists, and the pastors even teachers…” Ephesians 4:11.

The “Pastor” and the “Teacher” in the Ephesians passage are the same person. It is the primary responsibility of the Pastor as the shepherd to teach doctrine that is to be learned and practiced; however, he is also to properly handle Old Testament information by teaching it as information that is to be learned, but not practiced. In addition to the Pastor properly handling the Old Testament information, God has proved others with the Spiritual gift of teaching who properly teach the value of the Old Testament information without abusing it by seeking to make it doctrine to live by in this day and age (Romans 12:6,7). The Sovereignty of God– PDF Version

In Greek Class on Thursdays – there is room to join online if you cannot make it to the church – we were discussing Romans 9:22. This quick comment is based upon our development of this passage through examining the Greek grammar and words to determine its meaning and proper application.

God elected some to salvation; does He also elect some to condemnation? Why is that God has chosen to harden some, rather than show mercy to them? Can a just God harden a man’s heart and then judge him for rejecting God?

In the book of Romans, Paul discusses the choices that God has when dealing with mankind. Since God is sovereign, He can do as He pleases with men without taking away the responsibility of man to obey His Word[1] or the liability when he does not obey. In chapter nine of Romans, Paul repeats what was stated to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and I will show compassion to whom I will show compassion”[2]. Whether or not God shows mercy to a person is not dependent upon if a man desires mercy or works for mercy, it is solely based upon God’s choice[3]. He is not obligated to save anyone.
