Scripture Reading
Then came one out from the seven angels, the ones having the seven bowls, and spoke with me saying, “Come, I will show to you the judgment of the great harlot, the one sitting upon many waters, with whom the kings of the earth fornicated, and the earth dwellers of the earth became drunk out from the wine of her fornication.”
And he carried me away in spirit to a desert and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet beast full of blasphemous names while having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, adorned in gold with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full from detestable things and the uncleanliness of her fornication.
And upon her forehead written, “Mystery Babylon the Great, the mother of the harlots and of the detestable things of the earth.”
