She teaches spiritual fornication

She teaches idolatry

Her teaching is deceptive

She Produces Children, Revelation 2:23

A Woman is Not to Teach or Have Authority over Men, 1 Timothy 2:12

She is to learn in quietness (stillness [ἡσυχίᾳ])

Her place is not to teach doctrine (αὐθεντεῖν – to usurp authority)

She is more susceptible to being deceived, 1 Timothy 2:14

Judgment is Coming Upon This Great Harlot

Timing is Given to Us – One of the Angels Having the Seven Bowls

Taken in spirit to a Desert, Revelation 17:3-4

Previously was in the Heaven

Now the Focus is Earthly

Taken to a Wilderness or Desert (a barren place)

The Woman and the Beast

The Beast is Scarlet in Color Indicating a Connection with a Religious System

The Beast is the Man of Lawlessness, Daniel 7:7

At This Stage, the Beast is First Coming into Power (All Ten Kings With Him)

He Has Names That Falsely Attribute Things to Him

He will be Allowed to Deceive the Nations, 2 Thessalonians 2:10

He Comes According With the Workings of Satan, 2 Thessalonians 2:9

The Woman is a Religious System  – Scarlet Color is Used to Indicate Religion, Revelation 17:4

Purple Indicating Royalty – The King of Babylon

The Cup in Her Hand

Detestable things – Abominations

That which is highly esteemed among men is detestable to God, Luke 16:15

Mystery has to be taken with Babylon According to Normal Grammar

Not – a mystery, Babylon the great

NAS makes mystery an accusative, Revelation 17:5

This use denotes more specifically who or what produces the action or presents the state expressed by the finite verb

All Three Define the Subject – Mystery, Babylon, The Great

Babylon is not a Mystery, She is Referred to as Mystery Babylon, not just a Mystery

This is Why it is Mystery Babylon. Now it is a Religious Not Political Power

She Comes in With Religious Authority Over the Beast, Revelation 17:3

It Will Not Be Known By Its Political Power

After Israel is Brought into Rest – During the Millennial Kingdom They Will Have A Reminder of Babylon, Isaiah 14:3

This Babylon is the Mystery Babylon of the Tribulation

Because It is a Mystery, We Have to Look into What is Revealed About It to Understand the Mystery

She Has Religious Authority

She Cause them to Commit Idolatry

She is Seen as Royalty – Not Political, Religious

Revelation 17:1–2

Then came one out from the seven angels, the ones having the seven bowls, and spoke with me saying, “Come, I will show to you the judgment of the great harlot, the one sitting upon many waters, with whom the kings of the earth fornicated, and the earth dwellers of the earth became drunk out from the wine of her fornication.”

Revelation 17:3-4

And he carried me away in spirit to a desert and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet beast full of blasphemous names while having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, adorned in gold with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full from detestable things and the uncleanliness of her fornication.

Revelation 17:5

And upon her forehead written, “Mystery Babylon the Great, the mother of the harlots and of the detestable things of the earth.”
